Are you sure we all know this person? Well, no. I hesitated to use him because I was unsure. I don't think any of you ever mentioned him in my presence. But I've heard and read about him many times so I thought I might risk it. I was planning to give permission to google at some point if everyone was stuck. I might as well do it now. |

The only name I vaguely recognise in a bit of idle googling is Mansa Musa. Wiki tells me that some people regard him as the richest person in history, which sounds like one of those things, but in any case he does seem to be widely known.
