It was a puzzling one. First, the advertising thing, but also for some reason I was convinced the character was played by an actor. But the fact that he was created before 1980 and could still be seen in ads confused me, hence my "unusual appearance" question: I wanted to know if he had special make-up or even a mask, which would have made it easier for another actor to step in without changing the appearance of the character.
