Mysterious Agency! Ye spirits of the unbounded Universe! Whom I have sought in darkness and in light-- Ye, who do compass earth about, and dwell In subtler essence -- ye, to whom the tops Of mountains inaccessible are haunts, And earth's and ocean's caves familiar things-- I call upon ye by the written charm Which gives me power upon you -- Rise! appear! [A pause They come not yet. -- Now by the voice of him Who is the first among you -- by this sign, Which makes you tremble -- by the claims of him Who is undying, -- Rise! appear! Appear! [A pause If it be so. -- Spirits of earth and air, Ye shall not thus elude me: by a power, Deeper than all yet urged, a tyrant-spell, Which had its birth-place in a star condemn'd, The burning wreck of a demolish'd world, A wa_____ (a participle expressing some kind of motion, suitable to some heavenly objects but not specific to them) h______ (weeping, howling, horror, wailing, gnashing of teeth and such stuff, all in one package) in the eternal space; By the strong curse which is upon my soul, The thought which is within me and around me, I do compel ye to my will. -- Appear!

The children left for school, and the old lady to call on Mrs. Harper and vanquish her ____ with Tom's marvelous dream. Sid had better judgment than to utter the thought that was in his mind as he left the house. It was this: "Pretty thin—as long a dream as that, without any ____ in it!"
What a hero Tom was become, now! He did not go skipping and prancing, but moved with a ____ ____ as became a pirate who felt that the ____ ____ was on him. And indeed it was; he tried not to seem to see the looks or hear the remarks as he passed along, but they were ____ and ____ to him. Smaller boys than himself flocked at his heels, as proud to be seen with him, and ____ by him, as if he had been the ____ at the head of a procession or the elephant leading a menagerie into town. Boys of ____ ____ ____ pretended not to know he had been away at all; but they were consuming with envy, nevertheless. They would have given anything to have that swarthy sun-tanned skin of his, and his ____ notoriety; and Tom would not have parted with either for a circus.
At school the children made so much of him and of Joe, and delivered such eloquent admiration from ____ ____, that the two heroes were not long in becoming insufferably "stuck-up." They began to tell their adventures to hungry listeners—but they only began; it was not a thing likely to have an end, with imaginations like theirs to furnish ____. And finally, when they got out their pipes and went serenely puffing around, the very summit of glory was reached.

What a hero Tom was become, now! He did not go skipping and prancing, but moved with a dignified stride as became a pirate who felt that the general attention was on him. And indeed it was; he tried not to seem to see the looks or hear the remarks as he passed along, but they were milk and honey to him. Smaller boys than himself flocked at his heels, as proud to be seen with him, and acknowledged/led by him, as if he had been the ____ at the head of a procession or the elephant leading a menagerie into town. Boys of ____ ____ ____ pretended not to know he had been away at all; but they were consuming with envy, nevertheless. They would have given anything to have that swarthy sun-tanned skin of his, and his new/shining notoriety; and Tom would not have parted with either for a circus.

And finally, when they got out their pipes and went serenely puffing around, the very summit of glory was reached.
