This joke only makes sense in German, so you need to speak German to begin with. It's also incredibly dumb, but I'll tell it anyway. It made me burst out in laughter when I first heard it. I later told it to a Latin professor, who had the same reaction.
In einer Schulstunde ruft ein Lehrer seinen Schüler zur Leistungskontrolle nach vorn.
Lehrer: "Deliniere ius!"
Schüler: "ius ... ähm ... ius ... ii?! io ! ium ... ! Und io!"
Daraufhin herrscht kurz Stille, bis sich der Lehrer die Hände vors Gesicht hält und laut "Oh Je!" ruft ...
Darauf der Schüler: "Ah ja, den Vokativ hab ich noch vergessen!"

The teacher is asking to decline the word 'ius', but the student thinks he means just the ending '-ius'? And when the student gets it all wrong, the teacher says a German exclamation meaning something like 'Good grief', which the student mistakes for the vocative?
