Curious about this from Georgics 1:276-280:
Ipsa dies alios alio dedit ordine luna felicis operum. quintam fuge: pallidus Orcus Eumenidesque satae; tum partu Terra nefando Coeumque Iapetumque creat saeuumque Typhoea et coniuratos caelum rescindere fratres.
Did the Romans consider 5 an unlucky number in general, or just in this particular context? And were there any other numbers they considered unlucky?
